Got a pick sixer at the jewel ... didnt bother picking the sam adams octoberfest, but the Bell's seemed to remind me of lower flavor adams beers. It was nice but didnt really even compete with german fest beers. Bells is known for nice ales. And Sierra Nevada octoberfest was actually slightly better imo, but still way off from german fest beers or grolsch, which is sold year around and taste like to fest beers. And the Sierra had a sorta cheap beer aftertaste that wasnt that bad, but I noticed as just finished the bottle

Not sure how I ended up with this bottle of Carta Blanca , maybe a moment of weakness, and not remembering ever tasting it. It wasnt that bad, but the grape neon taste that comes in for a bit towards the finish makes it a never again for me. I dont like Corona either, but Modelo, Pacifico seem decent to me, even if I rarely have any. I may have tried Victoria once, with no bad memories jumping out. Would I choose a Bud before Carta Blanca,... no, but would pass on both
