what I find most ironic is that the same people who rail against the tobacco industry are the ones who advocate for the legalization of weed. They also seem to think that widespread legalization of weed will simply mean there will be no more prosecution, and everything else will remain the same. Personally, if weed becomes widespread legal, it seems to me that the tobacco industry is in prime position to capitalize on that. since they already have in place manufacturing, distribution, packaging, and tax and regulation oversight, who better?
