The Germans make good lager, I don't drink lager in UK.

This german lager brewed in Belgium seems short on malt and long on floral hops.. like a watered abbey ale...not my cup of tea. Not that bad though...I liked spaten doppel bock much more....8% alcohol hidden completely

It wasnt a coors...lol...even though its a major step up from any anheiser product... they be hiding something with that lingering corn syrup taste..... CORN taste is what its hiding ...or giving the coors light any flavor ... I know its a style and what many do it.... but too sweet..... but not PBR, the corn brew....every degree it heats up the cornier it taste....hipsters just like cheap corny beer

Yea... this should be more pro-US. I confess to drinking one Fosters from down under sometime....yea... I almost always finish .... but it was a never again .... no more of that crap in a big fat can......
Millercoors brought back Strohs and it still taste more like beer than most US swill beers

I saw something online that Olympia beer from the NW announced it is now brewed with 95% barley malt....which seems positive, unless its cattle feed grade barley... Since pabst owns the brand and hires millercoors to brew it. . Maybe they should disclose their barley malt amounts, also...lol

Pilsner Urquell (sp) .. its nice for a hopped up pilser
Stella... Got some nice malts but just doesnt quite have it all
Becks.... Pretty darn nice but flavor seems a bit fruity

Regional lager beer rundown
Yuengling.... dont remember but sure I want one
,Narragansett....pretty sure never, but want to try the Jaws beer
Point from stevens point WI , many regions of beer in that state... like a strong Old Style... so just ok
Shiner bock. .its been awhile but probably decent....need to revisit
Stag... a really good dry barley pop with a nice clean crisp finish originally brewed near st louis with no affiliation to anheiser...currently still sold in downstate IL Missouri and maybe arkansas..
#1 and the last thing in my pie hole
I read reviews of Shiner bock and remembered its a disappointing brew... called a bock but seems more like a very light lager without much flavor
And remembered a story about Stag beer... some of the old school Germans drink it sorta warm.... like suckling the motherland's bossum.
