The dogs are bomb sniffers and they, with their handlers, are the first in dangerous areas to mark where bombs are hidden. Having said that, dogs are injured as you might expect, but the violence is not as graphic as it could be...you will see dogs limping and legs wrapped in bandages.. This is really the only performance I have seen by Kate Mara since House Of Cards. She is convincing as a young woman looking to escape from a dysfunctional family...she chooses the Marines and Rex chooses her.

Great performances The film was raw. I expect its very much true to life.

I digested this overnight. I Like it better today than I did yesterday. Definitely a film I recommend.

American Made with Tom Cruise. I liked it. Very interesting film. Came home and educated myself more about the real person and everything he did. Good role for Tom Cruise. Not a typical TC performance.

The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) (2017)

AMAZING cast - Emma Thompson, Adam Sandler, Dustin Hoffman, Ben Stiller and more.

Don't multitask while watching, you'll miss quite a bit. Relies solely on dialogue, no effects. Solid performances. So nice to see Sandler do something good.

It has light moments, its not all drama, but its a pretty bleak look at a dysfunctional family. Absolutely worth the watch.

Haven't heard of it till now, so thank you for review and although I'm not a massive Adam Sandler fan... sounds like a interesting movie and worth a look.
But one I think you'd have to be in the mood for.

Now for the heartache... We watched this movie purely because of it's trailer and it looked scary as Fuck! but oh the disappointment....

Annabelle - creation is such a let down in so many ways... Highly recommend you avoid this movie as you'll never get the time back wasted watching it.

I love the stories with Ed & Lorraine Warren, so I avoided this one because it seemed like it strayed. Thought I'd wait until Netflix/Hulu, but now I think I'll pass all together.

      Nice seeing you here Sharkie.

      Thumbs up

      The Space Between Us

“The Space Between Us” is about a young man who’s spent all of his 16 years on the red planet and can’t wait to visit Earth—specifically, to meet the cute high school girl with whom he’s sparked an online flirtation. Trouble is, he may not physically be able to withstand the journey—or last long once he gets here.
