Victoria and Abdul and Battle of the Sexes

Glad I didn't pay to see either of these in theaters, but both are worth the watch and very enjoyable. Judi Dench is basically good in everything she does and the man who played Abdul was awesome. Very interesting story. I realize it was entirely based on his journals, but I would love to know if even a portion of it was true. Its interesting because watching the tv show Victoria - she was always rebellious and i can 100% envision thr events occurring as dramatized.

Battle of the Sexes - performances were great. Inspired me enough to youtube the original match and learn more about Billy Jean King and Bobby Riggs. He was an awesome character in film and reality.

I had not heard of either, but Netflix is going to send me the DVDs.

All the Money in the World.

Really interesting. Encouraged me to go home and learn all about the family. For me, this was Michelle Williams best role.

I happen to be a Kevin Spacey fan, but honestly I don't see how he could have done a better job than Plummer. Also, why was he cast in the role in the first place? They had to layer on prosthetics and go to great pains to make it work.

This can wait to be rented, but it was excellent.

Great performances The film was raw. I expect its very much true to life.
I saw Stronger and a half on Blu Ray and I must agree. Several of the cast were Boston area residents and it is the voice of Dr. Kalish (he amputated Jeff Bauman's legs) you hear when he is removing bandages.

      The 15:17 To Paris
By now I am sure you all know the story about how three Americans thwarted a terrorist attack on a train from Amsterdam to Paris. You probably have heard Clint Eastwood cast the actual three in the movie to play themselves. This flick gives you the background info on the three and how there strong sense of duty and honor carried them to act in the heroic way they did.

Ever since Natalie did The Black Swan (2010)I have come to expect her films to be "completely strange."

      I really like her!

To watch her go from a role like Jackie last year to a bad ass "soldier" in this, really shows her versatility.
