Instant Family - pretty cute. I like Mark Wahlberg. Had no intention of watching this, but ran across it and it was a pleasant little surprise. Don't go out of your way to see it, but if you need something to watch some night, its worth it.

      Captain Marvel -

I don't think this was as good as the other Marvel films, but its still thoroughly enjoyable. I especially enjoyed the timeline taking place in the 90s. Really fun to see Coulson and Fury de-aged and how they started. Reminded me a lot of the first Men In Black dynamic between Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith.

Bottom line - it was a good time.

Okay seriously, the past 10 years have been leading up to End Game! Woohoo. I see it tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I can scalp my ticket for big bucks here. Been sold out a month.

      The Mule and a half
Not his best, but entertaining all the same as Clint Eastwood directed and even sings and dances as "a 90-year-old horticulturist and Korean War veteran who becomes a drug mule for a Mexican cartel."

John Wick 3. Think this is the most violent film I have ever seen. Really liked it

I'm a sucker for live action Disney. I loved Beauty and the Beast and I loved Aladdin. Thought Will Smith was great. You can't compare him to Robin, but he made it his own.

It has been a long Summer (void of quality cinema) and I have not seen anything new in quite awhile. I just saw Downton Abbey and if you saw any of the six seasons it was on TV or on DVD, then all I will say is this movie ties up most of the loose ends and will please you like it did me.

I saw Judy. A bit slow, but I know why everyone says Renee is a Oscar contender. She was fabulous. Hearing her voice which was excellent made me have great admiration for her, but also made me miss the original incomparable Judy.

I too saw Judy and a half and I must agree with your review Jen. Yes, the movie crawled along now and then, but considering the events in the last year of Judy's life I am at a loss to suggest how the pace of the flick could possibly have been sped up. Given she was supplied with pills at age 13 years working for Louis B. Mayer it is remarkable she lived to age 49 years.
